Global Awakening When we look to the stars at this time, the transits speak of a time of Global awakening. A time of significant opportunities for change and transformation on all levels of life. However, the stars only foretell probabilities not outcomes. The choice is ours to make as to how the awakening will affect us on a personal level as well as a global one. It was Shakespeare who said,” Our fate lies not in the stars but in the hearts of man”. Sometimes our choices are hard to make, they are filled with anxiety, fear, and confusion. It is those times when we lack clarity of direction as to what “right “ choice to make, that we most need guidance. In celebration this month of the Summer Solstice I honor and call upon the realm of the goddess. May she bring us peace, guidance, and direct our decisions for the good of all. May her strengths shine through us like a beacon for the entire world to see. Women everywhere are gathered together to invoke the Goddess. Our many voices embrace her, to awaken her from the long sleep of patriarchy. Listen to her words: Kuan Yin mother of compassion and eternal source of comfort and peace. She calls us to meditate and in our stillness hear the silent language of the soul. When she is present in our lives it flows, we are relaxed, and in full acceptance of the divine order of all life. Baba Yaga teaches us to withdraw from our outer life and its demands and to explore the inner realms of our psyche. She asks us to cleans and break free from the old. She asks us to surrender our karmic burdens to renunciation for rebirth. Pele is a gateway from the deep emotional unconscious within us bringing clarity and consciousness to the reality in which we live. She teaches us that it is essential to release or we may become diseased. All to often we are invalidated so we are subject to self-doubt, and as our energy goes out of balance we feel guilty for speaking/not speaking, serving/not serving. We feel guilty for needing and therefore repress our own needs. Disempowered and incapacitated to stand up for our selves we are caught in a vortex of unexpressed emotions from within and with out that can be very costly to our lives. Through Pele we are given a voice, and through her, new doors are opened to clear boundaries, direct communication and inner security. Pele teaches us to operate from an inner authority for spiritual power Gaia, is the personification of the planet, a living presence of the earth energy. When she is alive within us she is rebellious, alive, tolerant, self –healing, and eruptive. He soul qualities are faithfulness, sentimentality and she symbolizes all that cannot be brought under control - the life force itself. She measures success in terms of spiritual connection instead of material accumulation. She is grounded with sound judgment, a strong intuition, with an accurate memory and uses these talents for humanitarian purposes. Mother Earth feels the impact of artificial and natural disasters upon her. Being connected to Gaia as a living organism gives us the feeling that we are one global family and we will not be free until we are at a collective peace. May this Global awakening by one of peace, love and joy for all of you and the world. Nameste~ |
